The Michigan Bigfoot Investigation Organization exists to examine reports of Bigfoot and related evidence with a particular interest in Michigan.

MIBFIO's working hypothesis is biological: if Bigfoot exists, it is a physical organism subject to the same natural world as every other animal. That premise gives an investigation something testable to work with.

We are interested in reports, field observations, historical sources, photographs and physical evidence. We are equally interested in identifying mistakes, ordinary wildlife, folklore, duplication and unsupported claims.
